Bafang error 46: Battery too cold

What it means

The battery is too cold to supply power safely.

Likely causes

• Cold weather
• Bike stored somewhere cold

Symptoms

• Code 46 shows
• No assist

How to fix it

1. Bring the battery indoors and let it reach room temperature.
2. If the code stays at room temperature, take the battery to your dealer.

How urgent is it?

Usually clears once the battery warms up.
