Ride with caution. Assistance may be switched off, but Bosch says you can always keep pedalling without the motor.
What it means
The drive unit is getting hot. This usually happens in high outside temperatures or under heavy load, such as long steep climbs.
Likely causes
- High outside temperature
- Heavy load or long climb
Symptoms
- Code 50100B
- Assistance may be reduced or switch off
How to fix it
- Reduce the load or pause.
- Switch off and let the drive unit cool for a few minutes.
- Switch the eBike system off, wait a few seconds, then switch it on again.
