What it means

On RideControl Ergo/Ergo 2/Go/ONE, the light/error LED flashes red and assist LED 1 blinks to show a battery problem. Assist usually stops.

How to fix it

  1. Note which indicator is blinking (or the message shown).
  2. Switch the system off.
  3. Look for an obvious cause, such as a battery not fully clicked in.
  4. Fix it only if you can do so safely, then switch the system back on.
  5. If it is fixed, carry on and book a service check with a Giant dealer.
  6. If the issue keeps returning, stop riding and contact an authorised Giant dealer.
