What it means
The system is not getting a correct speed signal. TQ also mentions tampering (e.g. speed tuning devices).
Likely causes
- Magnet too far from the speed sensor
- Magnet moved or missing
- Tampering with the speed sensor
Symptoms
- ERR 04A8 SPD SENS on the display
How to fix it
- Check the distance between the magnet and the speed sensor.
- Remove any tuning device; tampering is not allowed.
- Switch the system off and on again.
- If the error comes back, contact your TQ dealer.
How urgent is it?
Fix the magnet; dealer if it repeats.
