What it does

Set in the password-protected menu.

Typical values

10–99 km/h (example default 27 km/h in Dillenger kit manual)

Before you change it

In the UK, EU, Australia and New Zealand an e-bike (pedelec) may only assist up to 25 km/h with a 250 W motor; in the US, Class 1/2 bikes stop assisting at 20 mph and Class 3 at 28 mph. Raising the limit can make the bike illegal on public roads and can void your warranty and insurance.
