Bosch error 523001: Speed sensor not working correctly

Ride with caution. Assistance may be switched off, but Bosch says you can always keep pedalling without the motor.
What it means
The speed sensor is not working correctly. Drive power may be reduced and the speed shown may be wrong.
Likely causes
- Rim or spoke magnet missing or moved
- Sensor fault
Symptoms
- Code 523001
- Wrong speed
- Reduced assistance
How to fix it
- Check the rim magnet and, if fitted, the spoke magnet.
- Switch the eBike system off, wait a few seconds, then switch it on again.
- If the code comes back, contact your Bosch eBike dealer.

Restart first; see a Bosch eBike dealer if it keeps coming back.
