Ride with caution. Assist may stop; if the battery is hot, smells or smokes, stop and move away from the bike.
What it means
Errors 0 to 15 mean a battery issue, including short-circuit, temperature, voltage and charge/discharge protection. The code shows on the bike's matrix display.

- Error 0-15 on the matrix display
How to fix it
- If the bike is hot, smells of burning or is swollen, do not charge or ride it; move it away from anything flammable and contact VanMoof support.
- Make sure the bike has the latest firmware (VanMoof app).
- Reset the bike.
- Do a system restart (see VanMoof's 'How to System Restart' guide).
- If the error stays, take the bike to a VanMoof Partner for diagnosis and repair.
