What it means
The bike cannot read the motor's internal (hall) sensor, usually because of the motor cable plug.
Likely causes
- Gritty or loose motor cable plug
- Sensor fault inside the motor
Symptoms
- E24 on the display
- Motor jerks or will not run
How to fix it
- Turn the bike off.
- Clean any grit from the motor cable plug and push it firmly together.
- If E24 stays, contact Aventon support – do not open the motor.
