Stop riding. Do not ride until the rear wheel spins freely.
What it means
The system detected the rear wheel/motor cannot spin freely, usually because of an obstruction.
Likely causes
- Something caught in the rear wheel
- Brake or frame rubbing badly
Symptoms
- E27 on the display
- Rear wheel stuck or very stiff
How to fix it
- Stop and turn the bike off.
- Look for and remove anything blocking the rear wheel.
- Turn the bike off and on to clear the code.
- If E27 stays or you cannot find a blockage, contact Aventon support.
