Ride with caution. Assistance may be switched off, but Bosch says you can always keep pedalling without the motor.
What it means
The drive unit (motor) has reported an internal fault.
Likely causes
- Internal fault in the drive unit
Symptoms
- Code 511 on the display
- No motor assistance
How to fix it
- Switch the eBike system off, wait a few seconds, then switch it on again.
- Do not open the motor. If the code comes back, contact your Bosch eBike dealer.
